Nissan and Infiniti - SEBASTIAN VETTEL AND MARK WEBBER DRIVE INFINITI CARS AT LAUNCH OF RED BULL RING

SEBASTIAN VETTEL AND MARK WEBBER DRIVE INFINITI CARS AT LAUNCH OF RED BULL RING

Infiniti, the global luxury automotive brand from Japan, is supporting the Red Bull Racing Team this weekend by providing courtesy cars for this weekend's opening of the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg.

As part of its global marketing & technical partnership with Red Bull Racing in Formula One, Infiniti has high-profile branding on the RB7 racing car, drivers' and team's clothing and equipment. The common appearance of Red Bull Racing and Infiniti assures the visibility of the partnership, which was announced at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year.

This weekend, Infiniti Europe and Infiniti Center Vienna is providing the Red Bull Racing Team with three courtesy cars during the opening event of the new race track, the Red Bull Ring, in Spielberg, Austria. On the media day, May 14th, as well as on the open day, May 15th 2011, the drivers of the Red Bull Racing Team will use Infiniti cars for transportation to and from the circuit. World Champion Sebastian Vettel and his team mate Mark Webber will have the choice between the spectacular Infiniti G Convertible, an Infiniti M37 and the 4-wheel-drive version of the Infiniti G37. The Infiniti cars will be at their disposal throughout the weekend ensuring they experience Inspired Performance both on and off the track.

Andreas Sigl, Infiniti F1 Director, welcomes this opportunity: "The opening of the new Red Bull Ring is an important event - not only for Austria, but also beyond. This weekend, we are delighted to support Red Bull Racing at this opening event by placing our cars at their disposal. Both drivers use Infiniti's as their personal cars - Sebastian Vettel drives the Infiniti FX50, Mark Webber an Infiniti M37 - and we are very happy to support them by providing Infiniti cars during public events."
